Russia’s ‘Eastern Ukrainian Hectares’ plan is Russia’s version of Nazi Lebensraum expansion policy
Once again, Ukraine’s fascist neighbor to the east is taking a page out of the Nazi playbook after Russian nationalist and Rodina (Motherland) party chairman Aleksey Zhuralyov announced a bill to legalize the distribution of occupied Ukrainian lands to Russian invaders, Russian newspaper Kommersant reported on Nov. 6.
Zhuravlyov’s "Eastern Ukrainian Hectares" initiative can be launched in the Ukrainian Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhya Oblasts, which are partially occupied by Russia.

He compares it to Russia’s earlier "Far Eastern" and "Arctic" hectare distribution programs, but the concept is far more reminiscent of the Nazi Lebensraum (living space – ed.) expansionism policy to expand German territories to the east to provide land and material resources for the German people, while displacing Jewish and Slavic people.
Like Russia, the Nazis used the concept to justify their wars of aggression.
The 100 million occupied hectares have to be “cultivated by someone”, Zhuravlyov explained. And while all Russians can claim land in the Far East and the Arctic, only war participants can claim land plots in the occupied territories of Ukraine.

The bill is currently "under development".
Russia staged sham referendums on September 23-27, 2022, on "joining" the occupied territories of Ukraine's Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhya, and Kherson oblasts to Russia, which showed 87% to 99% "support".
Russian dictator Vladimir Putin on Sept 30. signed “agreements” on the annexation of Russian-occupied territory in Ukraine with the leaders of the “LPR/DPR” terrorist organizations and collaborators in Kherson and Zaporizhzhya oblasts.

Ukraine and most countries of the civilized world declared they would never recognize the results of the Russian sham referendums and the annexation of Ukrainian territories.
In response to Russia’s actions, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced on Sept. 30 that the country would apply for NATO membership on an expedited basis. He also said negotiations between Ukraine and Russia were impossible while Russia is headed by Putin.
At the same time, the G7 Foreign Ministers in its statement condemned Russia’s illegal annexation of the occupied Ukrainian territories and promised to impose additional sanctions against Russia. The European Union also condemned Putin’s move.
