Russia fires $200 million worth of missiles at Ukraine over weekend – Forbes

According to the publication, Russian forces used almost every missile they have in their arsenal: the Tochka-U, Kh-22, Onyx, Iskander, Kalibr and Kh-101.
Most of the missiles, about 30, were launched at Zhytomyr Oblast. Another 20 missiles were fired by the Russians at Chernihiv Oblast. Kyiv, Khmelnytsky, Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk oblasts were also attacked, as were the cities of Mykolayiv, Kharkiv and Kyiv.

According to Forbes, the total value of the missiles that were fired over the weekend is U.S. $150-220 million.
To calculate the cost of these missiles, Forbes used the following estimates: the cost of a Kh-101 missile is $13 million, a Kalibr costs $6.5 million, Iskander – $3 million, Onyx – $1.25 million, Kh-22 – $1 million, and a Tochka-U – $300,000.

A series of explosions took place in Kyiv at around 06:20 on June 26. Later it was reported that a residential building in the city’s Shevchenkivskiy District had been hit by a Russian missile.
So far, one person was reported dead and six people were injured as a result of that missile attack. Four injured victims were hospitalized, among them a seven-year-old girl. Two others received minor injuries.
Also, as a result of two Russian missile strikes near the city of Cherkasy, one person was killed, and five were injured.
“The deceased person was on duty, performing the maintenance of the railway tracks,” said the head of the local oblast military administration. “He acted in accordance with the signals of a missile attack, but the civilian infrastructure is not fully suited for protection.”
As a result of the attack, local infrastructure was damaged.
Russia also launched missile attacks on the Chernihiv, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kharkiv oblasts on June 26.
