Russia’s Gazprom sharply reduces gas transit through Ukraine
On Jan. 18, this figure amounted to 32.6 mcm, the agency said.

The capacities have been declared only on one of the two entrances to the Ukrainian gas transit system, namely on the Sudzha gas metering station.
In early 2023, the volume of pumping gas through Ukraine amounted to 43.3 mcm.
However, in the first week of 2023, the figure decreased by 7.8 mcm, to 35.5 mcm.

Warm weather in October, November and January, as well as economic measures have led to the fact that the level of gas reserves in European gas storage facilities is currently the highest in the history of observations (about 80%).
February futures at the TTF hub in the Netherlands are fluctuating at $700 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas as of Jan. 19.
