“It's only a matter of time. It is unfortunately a question of the losses that we bear, primarily people. It is a question of modern weapons, which we must receive, and will certainly receive.”

The president noted that on July 4 a conference on the restoration of Ukraine would be held in Switzerland. Zelenskyy said he had also had a recent meeting with the president of the International Olympic Committee, who is convening a special conference to raise funds to rebuild Ukraine.

“These and many other international initiatives simply wouldn’t exist if the world doubted our victory,” said Zelenskyy. “Therefore, we need to continue to work with focus, fight and beat the invaders until we take back our entire country. Ukraine will be free.”

The Russian military has suffered significant casualties since the start of a full-scale war against Ukraine. Since the beginning of the invasion, the invaders have lost about 35,900 soldiers.
