From Russia with love: Russians fleeing from south of Ukraine leave explosive "gifts"

Before fleeing from the south of Ukraine, Russian soldiers are mining civilians’ homes, leaving cynical messages on the explosives.

Source: General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine; Vitalii Kim, head of Mykolaiv Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram

Quote from the General Staff: "As they flee from the south of Ukraine, the Russian occupiers are leaving a large number of mine traps...

They are totally indifferent to the fact that Ukrainian civilians, often with children, will be coming back to the homes they have mined."

Details: The General Staff has posted photographs of explosives on which Russians had written "From the heart" and "From Russia with love".

Ukrainian mine clearance specialists are reported to be neutralising the "surprises" left by the occupiers.

Vitalii Kim has also reported that a large number of mines have been left in the liberated territories of the south.

Quote from Kim: "There are a lot of mines in the liberated territories and settlements. Do not go near them. Casualties are being reported."
