Russia's Federal Customs Service has confirmed that it has no intention of resuming the publication of exports and imports statistics in the near future, said the agency's acting head, Ruslan Davydovon, on June 20.

The suspension of publication has been in effect since the spring of 2022.

Davydov explained the decision by claiming that "a real economic war is being waged against us, so we see no point in playing along and revealing our cards in the near future.”

Davydov attributed the decline in export value to the fact that oil and gas prices were significantly higher last year compared to the present.
