On the Donetsk front, Russian troops have focused their main efforts on encircling Ukrainian forces in Lysychansk from the south and the west. On the Lysychansk front, Russian troops are firing on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces using gun and rocket artillery in the areas around Siversk, Bilohorivka, Lysychansk, and Vovchoiarivka and are attempting, unsuccessfully, to establish control over part of the main road between Bakhmut and Lysychansk.
