Russia has removed all military equipment from northern Crimea base – Radio Liberty
Russian occupation forces have removed their military equipment from the Medvedivka settlement in the Dzhankoy district of Crimea in recent months, Radio Liberty’s Krym.Realii project reported on April 26, referencing satellite imagery.

Russian armored vehicles and artillery stationed near Medvedivka between Oct. 2022 and Jan. 2023 did not appear in images dated April 25, 2023.
One image shows trenches in the area where the equipment was formerly deployed.

Earlier, Russian occupation troops had built fortifications near Medvedivka and across the peninsula, according to Brady Africk, the media relations specialist for the American Enterprise Institute (AEI)’s Foreign and Defense Policy Studies department.
A series of explosions occurred in occupied Dzhankoy on March 20.
Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence said that Russian Kalibr cruise missiles, in transportation by rail, had been destroyed.

"[Ukrainians] have to do everything [they] can to make sure Crimea comes home before the summer," Ukraine’s spy chief Kyrylo Budnov told The Washington Post on Jan. 31.
Russia’s military is panicking and digging trenches along virtually the entire coast of Crimea, Ukraine's permanent presidential representative in Crimea, Tamila Tasheva, previously told Radio NV .
