Russia scouring Myanmar, Africa, Middle East for ammo, Ukrainian intelligence says
"Military intelligence has documents on the cooperation and intentions of authorities in Russia to obtain ammunition, missiles, other equipment and weapons," said Skibitsky.

“This is due to the fact that Russia has begun to experience a shortage of ammunition.”
Skibitsky noted that Moscow is working with Tehran extensively and is already receiving Iranian ammunition and drones, hoping to ultimately get ballistic missiles. In return, Iran wants nuclear energy technology and advanced missile tech from Russia, according to Ukrainian intelligence.

"Negotiations are underway with Myanmar, countries on the African continent and the Middle East," Skibitsky added.
“They sent their delegations from (Russia’s) Defense Ministry, Foreign Intelligence Service, and other agencies to get as much ammunition and other weapons as possible.”

The official said the countries Moscow contacted have not yet made a decision on supplying Russia with ammunition, waiting to see the results of Russia’s offensive in Ukraine.
Earlier, Ukrainian Air Force Command spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said that Russia would spare no expense to procure shells, drones, and missiles for the war against Ukraine.
