Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, had a telephone conversation with General Mark Milley, the United States Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.

Quote from Zaluzhnyi: "I received General Milley’s assurance of the unwavering support of President Joe Biden in person, both houses of the Congress, and the American people in general. I thanked him for the most recent aid package [Ukraine is set to receive] from the US and for the continuous support in our struggle for independence."

Details: Zaluzhnyi updated Milley on the operational situation along the entire frontline with his American counterpart.

He said that the Russians are spreading misinformation regarding the situation at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, for example when blaming Ukrainian forces for the shelling of the power plant.
