Quote: "The commanders of Russian occupying forces in Kherson Oblast are attempting to reinforce their presence in the city of Kherson by transferring [Russian] reserve troops there in response to the advance of the Ukrainian Defence Forces.

New Russian units have been spotted in the regional centre [Kherson - ed.]; the newly arrived soldiers are having trouble finding their bearings in the city."

Details: The General Staff also reported that Russian occupying forces are attempting to resume movement across the Kakhovka Hydroelectric Power Plant bridge, the area of which is under fire control by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Russian forces, joined by the Federal Security Service (FSB) of the Russian Federation, are also ramping up filtration measures in Nova Kakhovka: they are searching local residents’ mobile devices in an effort to uncover people who are assisting the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Russians are undertaking similar measures in the town of Enerhodar in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
