Russian base ablaze near Melitopol mayor

A base belonging to a military unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, which had been seized by the occupiers, is on fire in the village of Myrne, near Melitopol.

Quote from Fedorov: "According to local residents, the base of the military unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the village of Myrne, Melitopol district, which had been seized by the occupiers, is on fire.

It was there that the Russians moved their military equipment after the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched devastating strikes on a Russian base near the airfield in Melitopol a week ago."

Details: Local people near Myrne reportedly heard about 25 explosions. Thick black smoke can be seen from the side of the occupiers' base. According to RIA Melitopol, smoke can be seen over Semenivka in particular.

It is also being reported that ammunition can be heard detonating and "flying away" in the direction of Zaporizhzhia. In addition, local people heard bursts of machine-gun fire near the military unit in Melitopol.

RIA Melitopol reports that explosions were also heard in Melitopol at night, around 00:30. The noise was loudest in the microdistrict and in the Semenivka area. It is noted that the Russian anti-aircraft system went off first, followed by shooting.
