Quote from Haidai: "The enemy landed 23 artillery attacks overnight, using, among other weapons, multiple-launch rocket systems. They mounted three tank offensives and delivered four rocket strikes.

Yet [the Russians] are unable to turn their limited tactical gains into operational outcomes. They maintain the same positions for months, and sometimes even retreat to the previously occupied [positions]."

Details: Haidai also reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled Russian attacks on six towns and villages situated on the administrative border between Luhansk and Donetsk oblasts.

Russian aircrafts carried out airstrikes on areas in and around another six towns and villages.

Haidai stressed that the Russian occupation authorities have so far failed to begin preparations for the heating season in the occupied cities ["heating season" refers to the colder months when heating has to be used, as it is normally the state that takes care of heating - ed.].

The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration said that the windows and walls in thousands of flats remain shattered or broken just five days before the start of autumn.
