Russian forces use mortars to fire bombs on Sumy Oblast Oblast Military Administration

Russian forces attacked northern hromadas (hromada or amalgamated territorial community is an administrative unit designating a village, several villages, or a town, and their adjacent territories) in Sumy Oblast on 4 September, firing a total of 40 mortar bombs.

Details: Russian forces fired 15 bombs (likely using a 120-mm calibre mortar) on the Znob-Novhorod hromada at around 10:00.

Soon after 14:00, the Russians fired 10 mortar bombs on the Shalyhyne hromada; they resumed their attack on the hromada around 19:00, firing another 14 bombs.

From 16:00 onwards, the Russians fired four bombs (likely using a 120-mm mortar) on the Seredyna-Buda hromada.

At 16:50, Russian forces fired on the Esman hromada, hitting it a total of six times.

Zhyvytskyi has not reported any casualties.
