On the morning of June 25, the Zhytomyr Regional State Administration reported explosions in the oblast. Zhytomyr Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlyn said Russian invaders fired on military bases and other facilities near the city, but the city itself was unharmed.

Zhytomyr regional governor Vitaliy Bunechko said that a Ukrainian serviceman had been killed and another wounded in the missile attack.

In addition, the Russian invaders fired a missile at a military facility in the Yavoriv district of Lviv Oblast. As a result of the strike, four people were injured. One person is in sustained moderately serious wounds, while the other three were lightly injured.

Over 20 cruise missiles were launched against the village of Desna, 60km north of Kyiv, but caused only minor damage.

In the skies over Khmelnytskyi Oblast, Ukrainian air defenses shot down two Russian missiles.
