Russian intelligence asset in Odesa sentenced to 15 years in prison

According to the prosecutor's office, the man provided information to Russian intelligence in exchange for regular payments.

The convict was caught red-handed during a transfer of video information about the location of Ukrainian air defense systems to his Russian handlers, communicating though a messaging app. He was gathering intelligence information by travelling to various areas of Odesa and its suburbs, where he took photos and videos of valuable targets for Russian air strikes.

“The traitor was recorded on video while identifying air defense systems located in Odesa; he valued his assistance to Russia at UAH 70,000 ($1,900),” the message said.
