Head of the joint coordination press center of the South Operational Command Natalia Humeniuk said at a briefing on Aug. 15 that Ukrainian forces continue to conduct fire control of all transport and logistics arteries in the south of Ukraine that are temporarily under the control of Russia.

“Just like the invading forces, we realize that their dependence on these arteries is very high, since they need to replenish reserves, weapons, equipment, and ammunition,” she said.

Humeniuk said the Armed Forces of Ukraine had destroyed more than 10 ammo depots and Russian equipment over the past week.

“The damage caused makes it impossible to use these bridges to transport military hardware,” she said.

Since the occupation of Kherson Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have been striking road and railway bridges across the Dnipro River in Kherson and Nova Kakhovka to destroy the logistics of the Russian army.

The invaders on the right-bank areas of the Dnipro River thus remain cut off from the supply of military equipment, ammunition and reserves.
