The report also provided the following regional breakdown of child casual-ties:

Donetsk – 335;

Kharkiv – 179;

Kyiv – 116;

Chernihiv – 68;

Luhansk – 55;

Kherson – 52;

Mykolaiv – 48;

Zaporizhzhia – 31;

Sumy – 17.

The message also mentioned some of the recently established child casualties of the war.

A recent investigation determined that a family with a 14-year-old boy died in a Russian airstrike on Izyum, Kharkiv Oblast, on March 9.

Another 16-year-old boy was injured in a Russian artillery strike near Kharkiv on April 6.
