"The consequences of occupiers smoking in prohibited places in action,” he wrote, referring to a Russian excuse for destroyed military objects.

“Today at 4 a.m., minus one enemy military base in the Radyvonivskyi reserve near the Molochnyi estuary.”

Fedorov added that the fire is very powerful, and the base is still smoking.

A number of attacks were carried out against representatives of Russian-controlled occupation "administrations" in the occupied territories of Ukraine across several oblasts on Sept. 16.

In the center of occupied Luhansk, the Luhansk puppet authority’s "Prosecutor General”, Sergey Gorenko, was seriously wounded and died in hospital after an explosive device detonated in his office.

In occupied Berdyansk, in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the "deputy head" of the occupation administration there, Oleg Boyko, was also killed. According to the speaker of the Odesa regional administration Serhiy Bratchuk, Boyko's wife Lyudmila, who was in charge of preparations for the sham referendum meant to “legitimize” Russia’s annexation of occupied Ukrainian territory, was also killed.

In the center of Kherson, the only provincial capital under Russian control, an explosion was observed near the building of the Kherson Oblast State Administration. According to some other reports, the city’s Appellate Courthouse could have been the target.

Meanwhile, numerous explosions have also been recorded in the vicinity of Melitopol, some of which have been clustered near an airfield occupied by Russian forces.
