Russian military wooing Belarusian recruits to fill junior officer ranks – Special Operations Forces

Russia is actively recruiting young people in Belarus to study in Russian military educational institutions, the Defense Ministry’s National Resistance Center reported on Jan. 27.

Representatives of the Russian armed forces are holding "open days" in towns and cities across Belarus, offering citizens of the Republic of Belarus the opportunity to study to become officers in Russian military higher education institutions.
