As of Day 187 of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the losses of the Russian occupying forces in their war against Ukraine amount to 47,100 personnel, 1,947 tanks and 1,060 artillery systems.

Details: Total Russian combat losses between 24 February and 29 August 2022 are estimated to be [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

  • approximately 47,100 (+350) military personnel

  • 1,060 (+10) artillery systems

  • 279 (+5) multiple-launch rocket systems

  • 149 (+1) air defence systems

  • 234 (+0) planes

  • 203 (+1) helicopters

  • 844 (+6) operational-tactical UAVs

  • 196 (+0) cruise missiles

  • 15 (+0) ships/boats

  • 3,188 (+17) vehicles and tankers

  • 101 (+2) special vehicles

The Russians sustained most of their losses on the Donetsk front.
