Quote from City Council: "As a result of stormy weather, an enemy mine was washed up by waves on one of the beaches of Odesa Oblast. The locals who discovered the dangerous finding immediately notified the nearest border unit."

Details: It is reported that experts of the special unit of Ukraine’s Navy destroyed the mine via remote detonation.

The City Council reminded civilians that the Black Sea coast and coastal waters remain a line of defence and, therefore, a danger zone.

Residents are asked to stay away from dangerous areas and objects.
