The official called the concrete warhead "the pinnacle of Russian technological thought" and suggested that the Russian military wanted to "confuse" Ukrainian air defense with an old missile.

"There were no explosives," he said.

“A missile cannot fly without a warhead, so someone installed such a pinnacle of Russian technological thought.”

Earlier in May, the Polish Air Force Institute of Technology reported that the wreckage of a Russian Kh-55 cruise missile was found near the city of Bydgoszcz.

According to Polish Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak, the object is indeed a Russian missile that fell near the Polish city of Bydgoszcz on Dec. 16, 2022. On that day, Moscow sent a barrage of 74 at targets across Ukraine.

Polish President Andrzej Duda later said the missile "did not pose a credible threat" to Poland’s security.
