Russian missiles strike Mykolaiv the day Zelensky was in town (UPDATED)

UPDATED: The number of victims of the June 18 Russian missile attack against Mykolaiv grew to 16 people injured, the regional administration has reported.
The Kalibr cruise missiles were launched from Russian-occupied areas of Kherson Oblast, the military believes. Ukrainian troops shot down one missile in the barrage with an unspecified MANPADS.

Two missiles struck a window factory, one damaged a residential building, and the last one hit a sausage-making plant.

The resulting fires have since been contained. Preliminary reports suggest there were no casualties in the attack. The extent of the damage done is not yet clear.
The attack happened in the evening of June 18. On the same day, President Volodymyr Zelensky visited Mykolaiv, near the front lines in southern Ukraine.
In particular, the question of Mykolaiv’s water supply was raised, as the city’s water pipes have been damaged by long-range Russian attacks.
