Russian nighttime attack: strikes in Kherson Oblast, debris falls in Mykolaiv Oblast
During a nighttime drone attack, the Russians targeted civilian infrastructure facilities in Kherson and Beryslav districts in Kherson Oblast. There was also damage in Mykolaiv Oblast as a result of the fall of downed Shahed drone debris.

Quote from the Defence Forces of Ukraine’s South: "The enemy terrorised Ukraine again with air attacks last night. They launched Shahed-131/136 attack drones from temporarily occupied Crimea... Unfortunately, the enemy hit civilian facilities in Kherson and Beryslav districts: a community arts centre and a construction materials store were destroyed. There was no information about the casualties."
Details: Kim added that the Shahed drone was shot down and the debris damaged a building of an agricultural company and a power transmission line in Bashtanka district of Mykolaiv Oblast. There were no casualties.
He said that in total, six Russian Shahed drones were shot down over Mykolaiv Oblast.
Prokudin added that over the past day, the Russians fired 117 times at Kherson Oblast, launching 691 projectiles from mortars, artillery, Grad MLRS, anti-tank weapon systems, tanks, aircraft and UAVs (three of which were Shahed kamikaze drones).
Quote from Prokudin: "The Russian military hit residential areas of the oblast’s settlements; medical institutions and an administrative building in Kherson; a research institution and an engineering building in Kherson district; and shops in Beryslav district. As a result of Russian aggression, two people were killed and eight others were injured."
Background:
Earlier, it was reported that Russian troops launched Shahed attack drones from occupied Crimea on Sunday evening. At 02:22, they reached the west of the country, and at 03:34, an air-raid warning was issued in Zakarpattia Oblast.
On the morning of 4 December, the Ukrainian Air Force reported that it had managed to shoot down 18 out of the 23 Shahed drones and a missile launched by the Russian occupiers to attack Ukraine at night.
Later, it became known that the Russian invaders tried to attack critical infrastructure in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast. The Russian drones were shot down without causing any casualties or significant damage.
