Russian occupiers loot mining equipment in Luhansk Oblast

Serhii Haidai, head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, reported that Russian occupying forces are removing equipment from the Rodina mine in the town of Zolote in Luhansk Oblast.

Details: The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration reiterated that it is currently impossible to evacuate civilians from Lysychansk. The local government is urging people to remain in shelters as the city is suffering powerful and near-constant shelling.

Meanwhile, the Russians have already begun looting property in the occupied territories of Luhansk Oblast. For instance, they are stealing mining equipment from the Rodina mine in Zolote.

Haidai also reported that Russian forces have conducted assault operations near Topolivka and the northern districts of Vovchoiarivka and Maloriazantseve and were partially successful. They control the road between Topolivka and Lysychansk.

The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled a Russian attempt to advance in the direction of Loskutivka – Lysychansk gelatine plant, forcing Russian troops to retreat.

Earlier: The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russian occupying forces have had some success on the Lysychansk front.
