In the Russian-occupied Mariupol in Donetsk Oblast, a full day before the end of the sham referendum, there is talk of a 77% turnout and attempts are being made to find and force people to "vote".

Quote from Andriushchenko: "Mariupol. The penultimate day of the referendum circus. The Russian-appointed puppet leaders in Donetsk are reporting a turnout of more than 77 percent, although why it did not immediately reach 102 is a mystery.

Today is another day of searching for mobile polling stations under the slogan "catch a voter". This is what "free will" looks like. Search and coercion. The ballot box carrier gives a clear hint about the consequences of refusal with a machine gun."

Details: Ballot boxes are being carried on the streets, and fake "electoral commissions" are also at work.

The so-called "referendum" on joining the Russian Federation, which is illegal, will last until 27 September.
