He also noted that Ukraine continues to support the residents of the occupied territories.

“The Russians don’t allow children to be taken to a safe place - not through the green corridor, nor through any other way,” Kim said.

“We still pay salaries to our enterprises and we support people the best we can. I won’t tell you more, but soon everything will be fine.”

On Aug. 11, invading Russian forces used Smerch multiple launch rocket systems to fire at port infrastructure in Mykolaiv Oblast.

Mykolaiv has seen almost constant attacks since the start of the full-scale Russian invasion, given its strategic location near the Black Sea front and its role as a major shipping center for Ukrainian goods.
