"In Kherson, the voltage in the power grids has disappeared,” he wrote.

Yanushevych added that Khersonoblenergo is already working to fix the problem. Power to parts of the city had only just been restored following the Ukrainian army’s liberation of Kherson on Nov. 11.

Russian invasion forces destroyed energy infrastructure in the western part of Kherson Oblast as they retreated from the area, forced back across the Dnipro River by advancing Ukrainian troops.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said on Nov. 28 that the Russian military had fired 258 times at 30 liberated settlements in the west of Kherson Oblast during the week.
