The SBU liquidated the Russian intelligence network that was scouting the positions of the Armed Forces

The spy network was also responsible for providing Russian forces with data on the results of shelling in the oblast, including the scale of destruction of residential buildings and civilian infrastructure.

The report notes that one of the “spies” of the network was a member of the Donetsk Russian puppet authority’s “supreme court”, involved in the persecution and illegal imprisonment of Ukrainians.

The network also included six local residents who were recruited by the Russian special services after the start of the full-scale invasion, the SBU says.

The network transmitted the collected data, such as coordinates on electronic maps with supporting photo and video recordings, to Russian forces through specially created Internet platforms.

Currently, all of the accused spies have been informed of their charges of endangering Ukrainian national security.
