Russian State Duma intends to punish people for distributing maps without annexed Ukrainian oblasts

Details: In Russia, people will face a fine or arrest for up to 15 days for distributing maps without the occupied Ukrainian oblasts of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Crimea.
Such maps, according to the bill, will be recognized as "extremist materials".
The law, if adopted, may concern any map on which, for example, the annexed territories of Ukraine are not marked as part of Russia.
It is noted that there will be no penalty for maps issued before the adoption of the law.
