The enemy suffered the greatest losses during the day in the Kryvyi Rih area, the General Staff said.

The invaders have also lost more than 11,000 pieces of equipment, including:

• Tanks — 1,738 (+1)

• Armored combat vehicles — 3,971 (+12)

• Artillery systems — 883 (+3)

• Multiple rocket launcher systems — 258 (+0)

• Air defense systems — 117 (+0)

• Warplanes — 222 (+0)

• Helicopters — 190 (+1)

• Unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of operational-tactical level — 726 (+4)

• Cruise missiles — 174 (+0)

• Ships/boats — 15 (+0)

• Trucks and fuel tankers — 2847 (+12)

• Special equipment — 75 (+0).

Russia attacked Ukraine on Feb. 24, and July 27 is the 154th day of full-scale war. The invading forces initially tried to advance from the north, east and south, attacking peaceful cities throughout Ukraine with artillery and missiles. Missile attacks by the Russian Federation throughout the country continue even now, with the enemy regularly attacking civilian objects.

During this time, the Kremlin has changed the goals of its war in Ukraine several times. After the failed operation to capture Kyiv and the retreat of its troops from the territories of Kyiv, Chernihiv and Sumy oblasts, the Russian army concentrated on fighting for the parts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts that remained under the control of Ukraine before the full-scale invasion.

There is only one regional center under the control of the Russian invaders – Kherson. Russia has also captured parts of Zaporizhzhya, Kherson, Luhansk, and Kharkiv oblasts.

In some areas, Ukrainian troops are launching counter-offensives, and Ukrainian forces have started a campaign of striking Russian ammunition and fuel depots, command posts, and strategic infrastructure such as bridges with high-precision artillery obtained from its Western allies.
