Russian units withdraw in Kharkiv Oblast after suffering losses, General Staff says

Some Russian units moved back to the occupied city of Izyum in Donetsk Oblast to regroup.

Meanwhile, the invaders have reinforced units in the village of Kupyansk, southeast of Kharkiv, by redeploying a battalion tactical group, in order to strengthen the protection of its supply routes.

Russian troops also conducted reconnaissance of Ukrainian positions using Orlan-10 drones near Izyum, Pervomaiske, and Velyka Komyshuvakha.

The General Staff added that the Russians conducted howitzer and rocket artillery shelling against the settlements of Oleksandrivka, Slatyne, and Tsyrkuny, while Russian helicopters attacked Ukrainian aircraft near Vesele and Ternove.

On the Slobozhansky axis, the Russian’s main efforts continue to focus on maintaining their positions and conducting reconnaissance.
