Russians advance on 5 fronts, trying to occupy Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts General Staff report

Russian occupying forces have focused their efforts and are conducting offensive actions on 5 fronts, trying to take full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts.

Quote: "Trying to take full control over the territories of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts, the enemy continues to focus their main efforts on carrying out offensive actions on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts, in the vicinity of Kreminna, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Opytne, Marinka and Vuhledar. [The Russian troops] actively use drones and army aircraft to strike the positions of our troops."

Details: Over the past day, units of Ukrainian defence forces have repelled Russian attacks near the settlements of Stelmakhivka, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast, Vyimka, Fedorivka, Bakhmut, Krasna Hora, Paraskoviivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Novokalynove, Vodiane, Pervomaiske, Vesele, Krasnohorivka, Avdiivka, Marinka, Bohoiavlenka, Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast and Novoandriivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Russian forces conducted 3 missile and 41 air strikes; as a result of these strikes, 3 civilians have been killed, and three more are in critical condition. In addition, the Russians carried out 67 attacks using multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS), hitting, in particular, civilian infrastructure facilities in Kherson Oblast.

No Russian offensive groups have been detected on the Volyn, Polissia, Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts. Over 40 settlements were shelled – in particular, Hai in Chernihiv Oblast; Zarutske, Vovkivka, Atynske, Stukalivka, Sokhany, Pavlivka, Yunakivka, Sadky, Myropillia in Sumy Oblast, and Udy, Chervona Zoria, Krasne, Lyptsi, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Varvarivka, Verkhnia Pysarivka, Ambarne, Fyholivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk,  Dvorichna and Zapadne in Kharkiv Oblast. There were casualties among the civilian population, and a large number of civilian residential buildings were damaged.

Over 25 settlements on the Kupiansk and Lyman fronts came under Russian fire, including Kupiansk, Synkivka, Kucherivka, Pishchane, Kurylivka, Kyslivka, Tabaivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Chervonopopivka, Kreminna, Kuzmyne, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast. Russian forces conducted airstrikes in the areas of Kotliarivka and Tabaivka in Kharkiv Oblast, as well as Serebrianka Forest in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut front, Spirne, Berestove, Bilohorivka, Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka, Krasna Hora, Bakhmut, Bohdanivka, Ivanivske, Mykolaivka, Klishchiivka, Ozarianivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne and Vesele in Donetsk Oblast – more than 30 settlements in total – were shelled. Russian forces also delivered airstrikes near Spirne.

Over 20 settlements on the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts came under Russian fire, including Petrivka, Kamianka, Avdiivka, Sieverne, Tonenke, Vodiane, Krasnohorivka, Bohoiavlenka, Prechystivka and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast. Russian forces conducted airstrikes near Avdiivka, Vesele, Krasnohorivka and Vuhledar.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast and Olhivske, Malynivka, Chervone, Huliaipole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Novoandriivka, Shcherbaky, Stepove and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast came under attack.

On the Kherson front, the settlements of Novooleksandrivka, Havrylivka, Chervonyi Maiak, Zmiivka, Shliakhove, Beryslav, Odradokamianka, Lvove, Tiahynka, Poniativka, Antonivka, Komyshany, Yantarne, Berehove, Veletenske and Kherson were affected by Russian fire.

Russian occupation troops are engaged in large-scale looting in the village of Kokhane, Vasylivka district, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

The Ukrainian Air Force carried out 21 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment, as well as 3 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile sites over the past day.

Units of Ukraine's Rocket Forces and Artillery inflicted damage on two Russian command posts, three clusters of manpower, three anti-aircraft missile system positions, two ammunition storage points and a fuel-and-lubricants storage point.
