Russians attack Sumy Oblast, delivering close to 100 airstrikes on 8 September

The Russians have shelled three hromadas [an administrative unit designating a town, village or several villages and their adjacent territories] of Sumy Oblast, delivering nearly 100 strikes with various weapons in the course of 8 September.

Details: The shelling of the Krasnopillia hromada began around 10:00. This resulted in 29 mortar strikes and 20 Grad Multiple Launch Rocket System strikes.

Russian troops attacked the outskirts of the village of Bachivsk (Esman hromada) discharging 20 mortar rounds.

After 15:00, the Russians opened fire on Znob-Novhorod hromada, discharging 8 mortar rounds and 15 grenade-launcher projectiles.

"We also have information about a car that was blown up by a mine in Shostka district. Details to follow," Zhyvytskyi said.
