Russian occupiers are amassing forces among the locals in the captured cities of Lysychansk and Sievierodonetsk, but they have failed to seize the road link between Lysychansk and Bakhmut.

Direct speech: "Belief in the "asvabaditely" [derogatory term meaning "liberators" – ed.] was short-lived among those who deliberately remained in Luhansk Oblast.

The Russians have already celebrated the capture of our region, equating it to victory in World War II, but they have not reached the border of the oblast.

They are rotating, bringing in locals. How does this happen? A man is invited to work, for example, in a water supply company, and after a few days he receives a summons instead of his first salary payment. He has been summoned by his ‘new homeland’."

Details: According to Haidai, the Russians are trying to overcome the resistance of Ukrainian fighters at the expense of the residents of Sievierodonetsk and Lysychansk, "in order to complete at least some kind of task."

The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration expects another increase in reinforcements from the Russians.

Quote from Haidai: "They are not able to fight on equal terms, and neither can they use their five-fold advantage. When it is ten-fold and it is allowed to wipe out large cities from the face of the Earth, something happens.

But the Russians have not been able to seize the road from Lysychansk to Bakhmut for three months now. They are only controlling the areas from which we have withdrawn to new defensive positions.

While holding Lysychansk, not a single metre of this road has been seized by the enemy. This is another ‘great battle’ for them".
