Russians fail to advance in Zaporizhzhia Oblast – General Staff report
On Saturday, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinity of Robotyne, Zaporizhia Oblast, and failed to regain the lost positions on the Shakhtarsk front.

Details: During the day, as of 18:00, the Russians launched 1 missile and 48 air strikes and carried out 8 attacks from rocket salvo systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. The operational situation on the Volyn and Polissia fronts remains much the same as before.
On the Sivershchyna and Slobozhanshchyna fronts, the Russians carried out airstrikes near Odnorobivka, Strilecha, and Hatysche in Kharkiv Oblast.
They launched mortar and artillery attacks on more than 30 settlements, in particular, Hremiach, Vesele (Chernihiv Oblast); Volfyne, Pavlivka, Sosnivka (Sumy Oblast) and Verkhnia Pysarivka, Hatysche and Varvarivka (Kharkiv Oblast).
On the Kupiansk front, Ukrainian soldiers are firmly holding their defences. They successfully repulsed Russian attacks near Vilshana and Synkivka in Kharkiv Oblast. The Russians carried out airstrikes near Kyslivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast. More than 10 settlements, including Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupiansk, Petropavlivka, and Podoly (Kharkiv Oblast), were hit by Russian artillery and mortar fire.
On the Lyman front, the Russians conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast). They carried out airstrikes near Nevske and Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Serebrianka, Dibrova and Spirne (Donetsk Oblast). The settlements of Kuzmyne, Bilohorivka (Luhansk Oblast) and Torske, Verkhniokamianske, Spirne and Rozdolivka (Donetsk Oblast) were hit by Russian artillery fire.
On the Bakhmut front, the Ukrainian Defence forces are holding the Russian advance near Kurdiumivka (Donetsk Oblast). The Russians carried out airstrikes near Khromove, Klishchiivka, Stupochky, Dyliivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, and New-York. More than 15 settlements, including Orihovo-Vasylivka, Minkivka, Novomarkove, Markove, Bohdanivka and Ivanivske (Donetsk Oblast), were affected by Russian shelling.
On the Avdiivka front, under heavy fire from Russian aircraft and artillery, Ukrainian defenders successfully repelled attacks by Russian troops near Avdiivka. The Russians carried out airstrikes near Novokalynove (Donetsk Oblast). More than 10 settlements, including Keramik, Avdiivka, Lastochkyne, Severne, and Karlivka (Donetsk Oblast), were hit by artillery fire.
On the Marinka front, the Ukrainian Defence forces continue to hold back the offensive of Russian troops near the town of Marinka. The Russians shelled more than 10 settlements; in particular, Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Heorhiivka, Yelyzavetivka, and Kurakhove (Donetsk Oblast) were hit.
On the Shakhtarsk front, the Russians made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions near Staromaiorske. They carried out airstrikes near Pavlivka, Zolota Nyva and Staromaiorske. Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Blahodatne, Staromaiorske (Donetsk Oblast) and Levadne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast) were subjected to artillery fire.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians, carrying out airstrikes, carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Robotyne (Zaporizhzhia Oblast). They are focusing their primary efforts on preventing the further advance of Ukrainian troops. More than 15 settlements came under Russian artillery fire, including Rivnopil, Novodarivka, Temyrivka, Olhivske, Charivne, and Novoandriivka (Zaporizhzhia Oblast).
On the Kherson front, more than 20 settlements came under artillery fire, including Zolota Balka, Dudchany, Zmiivka, Veletenske, Kherson (Kherson Oblast) and Ochakiv (Mykolaiv Oblast).
Meanwhile, the Ukrainian defence forces are maintaining their offensive on the Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts, consolidating their positions and striking the Russians.
The Ukrainian Air Force launched nine airstrikes on clusters of Russian military personnel, weapons and equipment over the past 24 hours.
Ukrainian Rocket Forces and Artillery destroyed 2 control points, 5 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, 4 artillery means in firing positions, 5 ammunition warehouses and one radioelectronic warfare station of the Russians.
