Russians injure 5 children in Ukraine in 2 days

In just two days, 5 Ukrainian children have been injured as a result of Russian shelling.

Quote from the Office of the Prosecutor General: "More than 968 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation. As of the morning of 29 June, the official number of child victims per day has not changed at 341. The number of injured has increased – there are now more than 627."

Details: In particular, on 28 June, Russian troops fired at civilian infrastructure in Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, as a result of which a 9-year-old boy was injured.

On 28 June, a 3-month-old infant and girls aged 14 and 15 were injured as a result of missile attacks by the Russians in the city of Ochakiv, Mykolaiv Oblast.

On 27 June, during rubble clearance in the central district of Mariupol, a 15-year-old boy was injured when a grenade exploded.

Most children have suffered since the beginning of the full-scale Russian attack in Donetsk (338), Kharkiv (183), Kiev (116), Chernihiv (68), Luhansk (58), Kherson (52), Mykolaiv (48), Zaporizhzhia (31) and Sumy (17) oblasts.

Prosecutors stress that these figures are not final, as work continues to establish them in places where active hostilities are taking place, in the temporarily occupied and liberated territories.

2,092 educational institutions have been damaged because of bombardment and shelling by the Russian Armed Forces, of which 213 have been completely destroyed.
