Details: After 230 days of the full-scale Russian invasion, the invaders are trying to hold the occupied territories, disrupt the intensive actions by the defence forces of Ukraine in certain areas and conduct offensive operations on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts.

The Russian forces are firing at the positions of Ukrainian troops along the entire contact line, delivering engineering defence equipment in certain areas and conducting aerial reconnaissance.

On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation remains unchanged. A comprehensive inspection of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus continues with the development of combat training tasks. There is still a threat of missile strikes and air raids, as well as the use of Shahed-136 UAVs, from the territory of Belarus.

On other fronts, the occupiers delivered attacks:

  • On the Sivershchyna front – from mortars and tubed artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Hai (Chernihiv Oblast) and Myropillia, Stukalivka, Seredyna-Buda, Rozhkovychi and Pavlivka (Sumy Oblast). The Russians also used attack UAVs;

  • on the Slobozhanshchyna front – from mortars, barrels and rocket artillery, near the settlements of Vovchansk, Strilecha and Udy. UAVs were used to adjust artillery fire;

  • on the Kramatorsk front – from tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery along the entire contact line, specifically, in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Hrekivka, Zarichne, Serebrianka, Spirne, Terny and Torske. Russians have mined bridge crossings in these areas;

  • on the Bakhmut front, the invaders opened fire along the entire contact line – specifically, near the settlements of Bakhmut, Soledar, Maiorsk, Niu-York and Zalizne;

  • on the Avdiivka front – from tanks and artillery of various types, not far from Avdiivka, Vodiane, Nevelske, Pervomaiske, Oleksandropil, Novokalynove, Marinka, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva and Tonenke.

There were no offensive actions by Russian forces on the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts.

More than 20 settlements came under fire. Among them are Novosilka, Zaliznychne, Bilohiria, Vremivka, Malynivka, Neskuchne, Orikhiv, Charivne and Olhivske.

On the Pivdennyi Buh front, more than 40 settlements along the entire contact line were shelled. The invaders are trying to compensate for significant losses at the expense of newly mobilised citizens of the Russian Federation who have undergone accelerated training.

Quote: "Up to 500 mobilised servicemen from the 205th Separate Motorised Rifle Brigade of the 49th Combined Arms Army left for the combat zone to replenish enemy losses in the temporarily occupied territories. [These are the] typical features of the so-called ‘young reinforcements’: protective equipment, Soviet-style helmets and AK-12 assault rifles, which have had poor performance.

The AK-12 was created by the Kalashnikov Concern and presented to the public in January 2012. It was a fundamentally new weapon, but it implemented the general scheme and technical solutions of the previous AK [model]. The experience of combat use during the fighting in Ukraine turned out to be so negative that after a few weeks of real-life operation, a decision was made to downgrade this type of weapon.

Training continues for 200 mobilised servicemen currently stationed with the 3rd Guards Special Forces Brigade. In the Brigade itself, after participating in the war against Ukraine, every second person wrote requests for dismissal or early termination of their contract."

Details: Over the past day, units of Ukraine’s defence forces repelled attacks in the areas of Novosadove, Bakhmutske, Ivanhrad, Bakhmut, Soledar, Spirne, Maiorsk and Krasnohorivka.

Combat aircraft of the defence forces landed 27 strikes. Successful hits on more than 20 areas of concentration of weapons and military equipment, as well as 6 enemy anti-aircraft missile systems, were confirmed. In addition, Ukraine’s air defence units shot down 10 UAVs and 4 helicopters.

Rocket Troops and Artillery units hit 3 control points, 10 clusters of manpower, weapons and military equipment and 4 ammunition depots. In addition, air defence and electronic warfare sites and other military targets were damaged.
