Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, has issued a reminder that the territory of Luhansk Oblast is not completely occupied by Russian troops.

Details: According to Haidai, the Russians are preparing for a pseudo-referendum on the "accession" of Luhansk Oblast within its administrative borders to the Russian Federation.

The Russians are spreading false information that the entire Luhansk region is already occupied. Therefore, due to the fear of a counteroffensive, they are trying to hold elections quickly without a choice, because this will enable them to declare that Ukraine has attacked Russia and announce a general mobilisation, Haidai notes.

Quote from Haidai: "The Luhansk region has not been captured completely: two settlements are still holding the line.

Nobody has surrendered the territories! De-occupation awaits the ENTIRE Luhansk Oblast."

Previously: In early July, Haidai noted that in four months of full-scale war, the Russians had covered only 30 km of the Luhansk region.
