The Russians try to destroy the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

During the last 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched seven rocket strikes and 20 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, and tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir in Kharkiv Oblast - but without success.

Quote: "The Russian forces continue to focus efforts on attempts to fully occupy Donetsk Oblast, organise defence and hold the captured territories, as well as disrupt the active offensive operations of the Defense Forces on certain fronts. The Russian army is firing at the positions of our troops along the contact line, taking measures to regroup its troops, and is constantly conducting air intelligence.

During the last 24 hours, the Russian occupiers launched seven rocket strikes and 20 air strikes, carried out more than 15 attacks with multiple rocket launchers on military and civilian facilities on the territory of Ukraine, violating the norms of international humanitarian law, laws and customs of warfare.

As a result of the terrorist actions of the Russian troops, the infrastructure of more than 20 settlements was damaged during the current day. Sloviansk, Siversk, Soledar, Bakhmut, Vuhledar, Stepne, Nikopol and Ochakiv are among them.

The occupiers tried to destroy the dam of the Pechenihy Reservoir in the settlement of Pechenihy, but were unsuccessful."

Details: There is still a threat of the invaders’ launching air and missile strikes on the entire territory of Ukraine.

The situation has not changed on the Volyn and Polissia fronts.

The Russian forces fired from tanks, mortars, and artillery of various calibres on the following fronts:

On the Sivershchyna front - in the areas of settlements Mykhailove and Huta Studenetska of Chernihiv Oblast and Novovasylivka and Riasne of Sumy Oblast;

On the Slobozhanshchyna front - in the areas of settlements of Kozacha Lopan, Strilecha, Hlyboke, Derhachi, Fyholivka, Dvorichna, Shevchenkove, Kupiansk and Kamianka;

On the Kramatorsk front - Yarova, Pryshyb, Donetske, Serebrianka, Shchurove, Raihorodok, Ozerne, Kryva Luka, Mykolaivka, Siversk, Ivano-Darivka, Rozdolivka, Oleksandrivka and Hryhorivka;

On the Bakhmut front - ​​Verkhnokamianske, Vyimka, Spirne, Vesele, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna, Odradivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Maiorsk ta Niu-York;

On the Avdiivka front - Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaiske;

On the Zaporizhzhia front  – Novosilka, Novopil, Vremivka, Velyka Novosilka, Vuhledar, Novomaiorske, Zaliznychne, Huliaipole, Malynivka, Chervone, Dorozhnianka, Mali Shcherbaky, Mala Tokmachka and Kamianske.

More than 25 settlements were shelled by the Russian forces on the Pivdennyi Buh front. In particular, Vysokopillia, Myroliubivka, Novohryhorivka, Bilohirka, Blahodativka, Shyroke, Zoria, Shevchenkove, Ternovi Pody, Pravdyne, Myrne and Oleksandrivka.

As a result of the successful actions of units of the Defence Forces on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts, the Russian forces continue to suffer significant losses, the General Staff reports.

Units of the Defence Forces repelled invaders’ attacks in the areas of the settlements of Vesele, Kurdiumivka, Mykolaivka Druha, Zaitseve, Maiorsk, Pervomaiske, Marinka and Novomykhailivka.

During the day, in order to support the actions of ground groups, the aviation of the Defence Forces hit 12 areas of concentration of groups of Russian soldiers and military equipment and one position of an anti-aircraft missile complex. In addition, Ukrainian air defence units destroyed one Russian UAV.

Missile and artillery units during the current day inflicted fire damage on 30 aggressors’ facilities. In particular, in 17 areas of concentration of groups of soldiers, weapons and military equipment, 10 areas of concentration of artillery, as well as three warehouses of ammunition. The total losses of the Russian forces are being confirmed.
