According to state media reports, Khusnullin, also known as the curator of the Russian-occupied Crimea, has arrived in Kherson Oblast on a "working visit."

Earlier the secretary of the General Council of the United Russia party, Andrey Turchak, during his trip to the occupied city of Kherson claimed that Russia would remain there “forever."

Russia has made it clear that it is looking to annex portions of Ukrainian territory, including Kherson Oblast, as part of their goals during the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
