It looks like Ryan Gosling will be getting dolled up for his next big screen role.

The Academy Award-nominated heartthrob is reportedly in final negotiations to play Ken in the upcoming Greta Gerwig-helmed live-action flick based on the iconic Barbie doll.

Margot Robbie is set to portray the Mattel toy in “Barbie.”

According to Deadline, the “La La Land” star originally passed on the role due to his busy slate but as production delays on the film ensued, alongside the film studio’s persistence that he play the role, his tune apparently changed.

Introduced as a male companion to the Barbie doll in 1961, the toy celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year with a limited-edition collection featuring threads from top-notch designers, most notably Dapper Dan.

A half-inch taller than Barbie, Ken – whose full name is Kenneth Sean Carson (named after the son of Mattel founders Ruth and Elliot Handler) — was created by Angel Sofia and cost $3.50.

Plot details are being kept under wraps for the film but filming is set to start in 2022.
