Sac City Schools outlines plans for meal distribution if teacher strike happens

The Sacramento City Unified School District said Monday it continues to negotiate with the unions representing teachers and other school staff members. If a deal can't be reached between the two sides, the district has said it will shut down all of its schools beginning Wednesday, March 23 – the date SCTA/SEIU unions have set to strike. District officials outlined in a statement to families Monday that they have a plan in place to provide for thousands of students who rely on school meals. See more in the video above.
