Sac City students receive Chromebooks as schools transition to distance learning
More school districts are helping their students through this stay-at-home order, including the Sacramento City Unified School District. SCUSD announced on Friday that campuses would remain closed to students for the rest of the year, and would begin to implement classes online. Students from Sacramento city schools received Chromebooks ahead of the district’s plan to start distance learning. The district has also been handing out meals to students every morning and night. In the past two weeks, the district says it has already distributed 300,000 meals.
