Sacramento airport to bring back direct flights to this US city. How much do tickets cost?

Delta Airlines is bringing back daily non-stop flights to Detroit out of Sacramento next summer.

Sacramento International Airport posted to X, formerly known at Twitter, on Sept. 16 announcing that direct flights will start on July 8, 2024.

The trip from Sacramento to the Detroit Metro Airport takes roughly 4 hours and 24 minutes. Flights can be booked now through the Delta Airlines website.

The first available flight leaving Sacramento is on Monday, July 8 at 11:05 p.m. and starts at $558 for a round-trip ticket.

In 2018, Delta Airlines had first announced the direct flights from Sacramento airport, but then the flights were suspended, according to SMF.

Detroit is the 45th location that Sacramentans can directly fly to from Sacramento airport, according to the airport website.
