Sacramento-area vaccination clinics see increased demand for COVID-19 rapid tests
As COVID-19 cases surge yet again following the 2021 holiday season, the demand for testing is bleeding into the new year. "People are mainly coming in getting tested for traveling or going back to work," said Zaylon Freeman, clinic manager, "or [they want to] just get protected when they go back to friends and family." On Saturday afternoon, anyone who arriving to COVID Clinic's Arden Sacramento location was greeted with a long line of cars.
