Sacramento asks residents to choose how to spend $1M for neighborhood projects

The city of Sacramento wants to hear from residents when it comes to making improvements to certain neighborhoods. There’s $1 million available from Measure U funds for residents to propose ideas and vote on project concepts through the participatory budget program. “This is a wonderful opportunity to come out and represent your voice in the community and take the time to vote on projects that were specifically fleshed out by community members to give you equity in those areas that have lacked equity for some time,” said Telitha Floyd, temporary community engagement manager.
