Sacramento coalition says elected officials backpedaling on homeless measure for November ballot

A Sacramento coalition pushing for a ballot measure dealing with the homeless issue is calling out city and county leaders. Sacramentans for Safe and Clean Streets and Parks held a news conference at City Hall on Thursday to say leaders are going back on their promise to put the issue before voters. While the coalition was criticizing elected leaders over what it calls broken promises, some outspoken homeless advocates repeatedly interrupted the speakers, sometimes using profanity and making personal attacks. The group is against the emergency temporary shelter and enforcement act.
