Sacramento County librarian honored for outreach to Spanish-speaking families

A Sacramento County librarian just received a big national honor for her work with bilingual families. Addie Estrada-Huerta is one of 10 winners announced for the "I Love My Librarian Award" presented by the American Library Association and sponsored by Carnegie Corporation of New York. Each honoree receives $5,000, and a $750 donation to their library. Librarians get selected for their "expertise, dedication, and profound impact" on their communities. See more in the video above.
